About the Owner

While fairly young in terms of years since its launch, the history and inspiration behind Middleton Construction dates back to 1973.   Chris Champion company founder is a second generation contractor who comes from a long line of craftsmen and entrepreneurs. 

Growing up he was taught the value of hard work, as a young boy, he would accompany his father to jobs - not just because he enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together, but also because he loved watching things being built from the ground up.  

Chris officially got his start in construction at the age of 16 as summer labor on job sites. He quickly worked his way up to carpenter’s helper - where he learned the importance of “measure twice, cut once” and started perfecting his skill as a perfectionist.

In 2002 he followed the footsteps of his father, uncle and other family members by creating his own company - Middleton Construction.  Chris is as comfortable on a construction site as he is in the boardroom, in all of the years since, his attention-to-derail and commitment to owner satisfaction have been integral to his success in construction. 

Chris represents more than 20 years of experience and has assembled a team of skilled and seasoned industry professionals.  Regardless of the stature of the client or size of the project, Chris hopes that every job ends with a happy client who is completely satisfied with the delivered products, and that their thoughts and ideas were incorporated in the end-result. He wants clients to feel Middleton Construction was genuine and professional. 

Community involvement is extremely important to Chris; he encourages his team to mentor and engage with local charities and programs on a personal level.  From a company standpoint, Middleton Construction is proud to support non-profit organizations, local schools and sports programs. 

When not working, you are likely to find Chris on the football field where he has coached youth football for nearly a decade as a devoted father as he enjoys being active in his kids lives.  In return, it reminds him of his fondest times playing youth football on the street he grew up on named Middleton Place. Where his strong work ethics were rooted.
