What is it like to work with a general contractor? What is our process?
- When you contact us regarding a project we will conduct a brief phone interview to get a better understanding of your needs and the scope of the project.
- We will then schedule a site visit to see your space, discuss and understand the scope of your project. We will discuss your “must haves” and “like-to-haves” and answer any questions you have.
- Within a week we will provide you with an estimate for your work. This will include the scope of the work and a projected budget.
- If you request changes to the scope of work, we will provide you a revised estimate. Once estimate is approved, we will provide you a contract within a few days.
- After the contract has been signed and returned, we will schedule either a meeting or conference call to discuss the construction process, consider any special requests you may have, and address any questions or concerns.
- Construction begins! We keep you informed of the progress via text messages, phone calls, and emails.
- At the end of construction, we complete a walk through with you to address any additional needs or concerns. We call this a “punch list” and complete it in a timely manner.
- Then it’s done! We end our process responding to any additional questions or concerns. We also send you a brief survey to complete and ask for a testimonial from you.
